Intellectual Property Management Intellectual property (IP) can be a key to improved shareholder value and can be a source of competitive advantage. Nevertheless, to achieve these goals IP must be properly exploited or managed. TIG helps clients here in several ways: Feasibility experimentation or prototyping is conducted to improve the sanctioned position of a patent and extend its coverage range. Inventions are reduced to practice in commercial environments, demonstrating the usefulness of the invention to the satisfaction of the US Patent Office and prospective customers. Unused inventions are commercialized utilizing TIG's extensive knowledge and contacts within manufacturing industries (see Market Intelligence) and municipal service suppliers (water, wastewater treatment, municipal incineration and power generation).
